We've gone to great lengths to make sure searching for, and booking, a Care Provider on the Home Carers Direct Platform is not only quick and easy, but also a safe and secure experience. We've included several measures to protect both you and your carer.
To ensure a smooth booking experience, the payment is taken from you prior to your visit from the Carer and is held securely by our payment provider (Assembly Payments). After 3 days following the appointment, the funds are then paid to your Care Provider. If you have a dispute or want to make an adjustment (for example the booking ran longer or shorter than what you booked), you have this 3 day window to make any changes. If the Care Provider does not agree with the changes made to the booking, they can raise it directly with Home Carers Direct and we will pause all payments while we investigate.
Home Carers Direct has arranged comprehensive and market leading insurance on behalf of your Care Provider. To ensure this insurance applies, all bookings with your carer must be paid for using the Home Carers Direct booking and payment platform. The insurance covers apply only to care that is arranged and paid for on the platform.
