Fees
Wherever possible, Home Carers Direct pays for some of the transaction fees charged to Care Seekers and Home Carers by Assembly Payments. The fees shown in the table below can change from time to time and you will be notified of any fees payable at the time of making each transaction.
Paying for Services
Receiving Payments
To minimise transaction fees, we recommend that Care Seekers pay for care services using Domestic Bank Transfer (EFT) at least 8 days prior to the service date.
Digital Wallet
Care Seekers can pay for their service from their Assembly Payments Digital Wallet to transact on the platform.
A Digital Wallet allows you to do a single transfer of funds, and then use them up for multiple bookings.
- You will be charged a direct debit fee (see Paying for Services table) as this is the only method available to fund your Digital Wallet.
- You can pay Home Carers for services less than 8 days in advance using your Digital Wallet and there are no additional fees charged to do this.
- To withdraw funds from your Digital Wallet into your personal bank account by Domestic Bank Transfer (EFT), you will be charged a 0.5% fee.
How are hosting fees charged?
Hosting fees are charged for each booking you make with Home Carers Direct. Both the Care Seeker and Home Carer are charged hosting fees to use the platform.
